Dr. Nabil Nasre, DVM

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Nasre is a highly respected veterinarian with more than 40 years of experience in veterinary medicine. He graduated from the University of Cairo in 1966 and immigrated to the United States in 1971 in pursuit of greater opportunities and a better future for his family. After completing the requirements for licensure in California, he became a licensed veterinarian in 1976.

Early in his career, Dr. Nasre dedicated his skills to serving animals throughout Los Angeles County, working in animal shelters and high-volume spay and neuter clinics. His passion for animal welfare and commitment to quality veterinary care led him to open his first private practice in Huntington Beach in 1979.

Over the decades, Dr. Nasre built a reputation for compassionate care, surgical expertise, and a genuine dedication to the families and pets he served. Thousands of clients have entrusted him with the health and well-being of their beloved companions, benefiting from his extensive experience and steady, caring approach.

Today, Dr. Nasre enjoys a well-earned retirement while continuing to share his knowledge and expertise on an as-needed basis alongside Dr. Andrew Yacoub. When he is not helping patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two grandchildren, and his grand-dog, Bailey—who can always count on Dr. Nasre to sneak him a piece of pita bread now and then.

Dr. Nasre’s lifelong commitment to veterinary medicine and the human-animal bond continues to leave a lasting impact on both his colleagues and the countless families he has served throughout his distinguished career.
